For this collaboration, you will work in a group to discuss The Road. In your group discussions, you will review important themes, examine writing techniques, and share your personal reactions to the novel. Having studied literature for this long, you are well prepared to "fly from the nest" on your own and examine a piece of literature independently.

Note: You will make contributions to your individual page, to complete homework preparation, and to your group page if you are the notetaker for the day.

To prepare for your small group discussion, you will complete one of the following jobs for homework:

• Vocabulary Enricher

In addition, you will be the notetaker at least once on group discussion days.

Your preparation for (including completing your assigned task) and participation in each group discussion will be evaluated as a 10 point quiz grade.
